Josef, August 2007

Cathy says "He was here this morning and is all set for school. He did not know I was giving him so much and was overwhelmed. For 10 minutes he saying thank you and he wished he had more English to explain how he felt. His school fees are 27000 Rwandan Francs and his uniform 5000 Rwandan Francs. All his materials are the same as the other boys, e.g. mattress, bedding supplies, etc. He walked off so very proud and could not wait to show his mum."

At the end of 2008 Cathy said "Josef came home after the first term and told me that school used to be difficult because he was always worried about tuition and supplies, but now he is free to study and do his best. Josef has received 76% on his final report."
